Lakewood

Lakewood is a Home Rule Municipality that was incorporated in 1907. It is the 5th largest city in Colorado with a population of 154,393, as based on the 2016 Census estimate. It is located approximately 9 miles west/southwest of Downtown Denver, 33 miles from Denver International Airport, and has a land area of 154 square miles. The city located in Jefferson County. Lakewood is home to the Denver Federal Center (cities largest employer), Colorado Christian University, and Red Rocks Community College. Additionally, the City of Lakewood manages more than 102 parks, 7,200 acres of open space, and more than 180 miles of trails for biking, walking, hiking and horseback riding.

Our focus is primarily on the South Metro communities of Denver with a particular specialization on the Cherry Creek High School boundary neighborhoods.  This includes- Centennial, Cherry Hills Village, the Denver Tech Center, Englewood, Greenwood Village, and all those unincorporated pockets located within.
